How I Work
Have you ever watched Westworld? In the show, each character’s inner world is organized around a set of core memories—foundational experiences that shape how they understand themselves, relate to others, and move through their story. I approach therapy similarly.
We are all shaped by formative relationships, defining moments, inherited roles, and adaptations that once helped us belong, stay safe, or make sense of the world. Over time, these experiences become patterns: the ways we protect ourselves, seek connection, respond to conflict, and decide what is possible for us.
When we begin to understand how your inner world became organized, your reactions make more sense. We can identify the larger themes running through your life, notice the smaller patterns that keep repeating, and distinguish between what is authentically yours and what you learned to become.
That understanding creates greater freedom. Rather than continuing to live from an old script, you can decide what you want to carry forward, what needs care or revision, and where you want your story to go next.
My style is warm, strategic, collaborative, and highly personalized. I am active and engaged in sessions: listening closely, reflecting patterns, asking thoughtful and sometimes direct questions, and helping you connect what is happening now with the deeper emotional and relational structures beneath it.
Together, we create a clearer map of your internal world—your history, attachment patterns, nervous system, relationships, identities, strengths, protective strategies, and longings—and use that understanding to support intentional, meaningful change.
I currently work with individuals, couples, and multi-partner relationships online throughout Oregon and Washington.
About me
I have always been a natural helper. The kind of kid who could sense what others were feeling before they spoke. I grew up in a religious environment where love had conditions, and learned early what it felt like to carry shame, silence parts of myself, and long for true belonging. When my dad came out and was rejected by most of his community, I quietly navigated my own sexuality with little support. It took years to come home to my queerness, my sensitivity, and my desire to build a life that felt honest and expansive.
Today, I work with people in transition. Emotionally, relationally, existentially. My clients are often questioning inherited narratives, unpacking identity, healing relational wounds, or moving through grief and change. Some are exploring neurodivergence or non-traditional relationships. Others are simply trying to find themselves again.
My approach is warm, relational, and depth-oriented. I integrate attachment theory, family systems, psychodynamic depth psychology, narrative therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy through a trauma-informed lens. As a white, cisgender, bisexual woman in a poly triadic relationship, I bring awareness of identity and systems into the room with humility and care.
